Scholarship Eligibility:

  • The applicants must intend to study full-time in an undergraduate program at Victoria University of Wellington’s School of Accounting and Commercial Law, where they will major in a discipline associated with either accounting or commercial law. Applications from those who wish to pursue a dual degree in commerce and another field are also welcome.

  • The requirement for applicants is that they must be in a precarious financial condition that would prevent them from attending a higher education institution.

  • Applicants must either be citizens of New Zealand, be Permanent Residents, or have a resident class visa in order to stay in New Zealand.

  • Candidates must have successfully completed NCEA Level 2 and earned a Merit mark (or the equivalent in another qualification)

  • Additionally, candidates will be evaluated using the following standards:

  1.  Participation in local, sporting, and extracurricular activities.
  2.  Characteristics necessary for leadership.
  3. the willingness and capacity to give back to the community.
