Job Roles Description

We are currently offering a part-time, on-site role for a Gender Manager located in Kuje. The primary responsibility of the Gender Manager is to actively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of gender-focused programs and initiatives.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams, meticulous monitoring of project outcomes, and conducting research on gender-related issues are integral aspects of this role.

Qualifications:

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • Educational Background: A Degree in Gender Studies, International Development, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in program design and implementation, with a specific focus on gender initiatives.
  • Research Proficiency: Experience in conducting research on gender issues, coupled with skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Partnership Engagement: Proven experience working with partners and stakeholders to develop and implement gender-sensitive programs and initiatives.
  • Understanding of Gender Dynamics: Demonstrated understanding of issues related to gender equality and empowerment, along with knowledge of relevant policies and frameworks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing your ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is a requirement, and proficiency in other languages spoken in Nigeria is considered an asset.
