We are in search of an Ad Operations Specialist who is dedicated to excellence and possesses a fervor for pushing boundaries.
Join our international team and contribute to Opera’s ongoing success. As an Ad Operations Specialist, your role is pivotal in ensuring the flawless execution of our digital advertising campaigns.
You’ll closely collaborate with various teams, including Sales, Customer Solution Management, Data, and Engineering, to execute ad campaigns within a native environment.
Your expertise will be instrumental in managing bids and budgets, optimizing existing campaigns to enhance conversion rates, and leveraging new features introduced by advertising platforms.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses a profound understanding of digital advertising platforms and technologies.
Role & Responsibilities:
Execute digital ad campaigns in alignment with insertion orders; monitor campaigns to ensure they meet pacing and performance goals, and proactively engage with stakeholders to ensure campaign success.
Analyze and manage budget allocation, campaign results, inventory, audience segmentation, and performance.
Conduct testing, track, debug, and troubleshoot issues related to ad tags, campaign delivery, performance, and discrepancies with media/client/agency teams, vendors, and partners, and proactively drive solutions.
Internal Stakeholder Coordination:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including client success managers, data scientists, and engineers, to implement campaigns and achieve client KPIs.
Address and follow up on customer queries, complaints, and requests. Resolve any technical issues clients might encounter.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in digital advertising operations, marketing, digital media, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using ad servers such as Google Ad Manager, DV360, Sizmek, OpenX, Celtra, etc., and ad-verification vendors like Integral Ad Science, DoubleVerify, MOAT, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Deep understanding of digital advertising workflow and media vocabulary (impressions, CPM, conversions, etc.) and performance metrics.
- Attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership of tasks, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team, managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Highly proactive and exceptionally organized.
